The Green Team at British Columbia's largest shopping center, Metropolis at Metrotown, has published a list of 9 Ways to Greenify Your Holidays. Number 6 on their list is shocking to me. It says "All the energy we use to power our Christmas lights could power one million homes! Use LED lights, they consume 95% less energy than regular lights". When they say 'we', do they mean the mall, British Columbia, or all of Canada? We're talking a Griswold family Christmas, here! [via Metropolis At Metrotown]
