Out Of The Foot Locker - Gay Soldier Support

The United States has a "Don't ask, don't tell" policy when it comes to gays and lesbians serving in the armed forces. This prohibits gays from openly serving. In other words, don't tell us your gay, we'll let you risk your life for us, and if we do happen to find out that you're gay, then we'll kick you out. This could someday change, however, as a group of retired general and admirals is actively seeking to change the current policy. It is estimated that there are approximately one million gay and lesbian veterans in the United States today [PinkNews.co.uk].
