Putrid Pork - Ireland's Dioxin-Tainted Pigs

Don't eat the other white meat! There is currently a bill in the works to recall all pork products made from pigs slaughtered in Ireland. It is estimated that about 10 percent of Irish pigs were fed dioxins, a highly carcinogenic and toxic compound. Ireland exports about 1 million euros of pig meat a day [Bloomberg.com]. It seems the Irish will be the ones doing the kissing here - of their profits... goodbye.

P.S. this pig was dioxin-free.
